As part of my regular surfing the web looking for new hope - I came across this article..offering a new approach to tackle RA and other auto-immune diseases.

Packed with loads of medical jargon but you'll get the picture..

Hope this helps doctors make progress - might help other diseases as well.

Enjoy..

Hi Darshin

Thanks for posting this. I have heard many things like this. I believe that one day a cure for RA and other similar diseases will be found. It could be today, it could be in 50 years but hope springs eternal.

Hi Darshin

This is one of the sites I visit regularly as it has a lot of information that is rheumatology related.

There will, in the future, no doubt be a 'cure' for auto-immune diseases. Already headway made in the last 10 years has been remarkable but I guess to appreciate this you would need to have been diagnosed more than 15 years ago when available treatments were little more than steroids and anti-inflammatories!

Who knows what's round the corner ... just hope it's not a double decker bus about to flattened me. I have a life to lead all be it one with RA and joint damage!

Be positive, the meds do work ThumpUp

My son, Ian, completed the BUPA Great North Run on 15th September running for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS). You can read his story at http://www.justgiving.com/ianlukewilson

Getting RA makes you change attitude to importance of research! Arthritis research is woefully underfunded, so do consider supporting where you can (http://www.arthritisresearchuk.org/).
